About Briar

Briar's musical journey began early, immersed in a rich and supportive creative environment. From singing in the kitchen with her mum, playing guitar alongside her dad, and studying violin from the age of nine at Chrysalis Steiner School, music quickly became a defining part of her life. This led Briar to pursue formal vocal training at fifteen, where she went on to top her music class in her final years at Coffs Harbour Senior College.

Briar holds a Bachelor of Music Performance from the prestigious Australian College of the Arts in Melbourne. During her studies, she trained under some of Australia's most respected artists and educators, including Ella and Jesse Hooper (Killing Heidi), Ainslie Wills, Hailey Kramer (Haych), and Dallas Frasca. While in Melbourne, Briar wrote, produced, and released her EP How, and performed extensively across multiple states as both a solo artist and ensemble performer.

As a music teacher, Briar has successfully guided students through school performances, public events, AMEB examinations, and competitive settings. Her teaching approach combines technical excellence with confidence-building and artistic development, empowering students to find their unique voice.

Sing With Briar was founded with the intention of delivering high-quality, accessible music education, both in-home and online. Briar is passionate about nurturing musicians at every stage and looks forward to supporting students as they grow in skill, confidence, and musical expression.
